Jos - Political thugs have attacked the campaign convoy of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, Simon Lalong, reports Vanguard.
Four vehicles in Lanlong’s convey were destroyed during the attack.
The incident happened on Monday when the APC campaign train moved from Jos East to pay a courtesy visit on Da Dangyang, the District Head of Gyel.
Festus Fuante, the Director of Media and Publicity Committee of the Lalong Campaign Organization, described the attack as unfortunate.
He commended the party supporters for the calmness and maturity they exhibited in the face of the unprovoked attack.
