JOB DESCRIPTION
The Lead Brand or Business Strategist’s roles include:
- Ensuring the views of the clients on the agency’s quality of service is known and any defects are remedied in time
- Staffing of the Strategy department to attain appropriate quality and quantity within available resources (by identifying, attracting, hiring and retaining the best talents in the Nigerian space and beyond)
- Establishing an efficient workflow process in the Strategy department that delivers 7 plus output and at great pace always
- Ensuring the achievement of the Agency’s vision of becoming the ‘the most awarded creative agency in Africa by 2022
- Managing/superintending appraisals of all talents in the Strategy department at regular and agreed intervals
- Assembling of appropriate training environment, schemes and programs that would sharpen and widen skills of strategists and or other Agency staff
- Promoting the attainment of 7 plus quality in planning, briefing and documentation
- Ensuring that appropriate contacts take place at all levels of the client organisations
- Be sure Agency costs are minimized and businesses are profitably run
- Ensuring that the Agency’s products advertising, activation ideas, etc are nothing short of excellent by coordinating the process and talents involved in the planning, creation and execution of the products
- Doing the appraisal of other strategists and managers in the Agency
- He/she is expected to devote a part (not less than 30 percent) of your time to evolving new business ideas either for new business prospects or existing clients (to spurn new revenue streams).
- Lead (with the Business & Strategy Director) new Business Pitches and ensure at least 70 percent conversion of the new opportunities.
