Referee Mark Clattenburg awarded a controversial late penalty that gave Porto the edge in their Champions League round of 16 tie against Basel.

Danilo converted to give the visitors a draw and an away goal after Clattenburg ruled that Walter Samuel had handled the Brazilian full-back's cross.

The English referee, who booked eight players, ruled out a goal by Porto midfielder Casemiro controversially.

Derlis Gonzalez had given Basel a first-half lead, but went off injured
