PDP denies bribing pastors with N6b

Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has denied offering N6 billion to some Christian leaders to support President Goodluck Jonathan re- election bid, reports Punch.
The party lambasted Gov. Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State for making such false allegation.
The party challenged Amaechi to name such pastors and where the money was coming from.

Addressing a press conference in Abuja at the PDP National Secretariat on Wednesday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, said such allegation is capable of bringing Christians and Muslims into a major disagreement and major dispute.
Ameach, who is also the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Presidential Campaign Organisation, had on Tuesday accused the PDP of bribing a group of clergy men with N6bn.
