The Economist endorses Buhari

Lagos - The Economist, one of the world’s most read magazine on Thursday took an in-depth look into Nigeria’s pending elections and concluded that the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Muhammad Buhari would probably do a better job of running the country.
The magazine said Buhari is more competent than President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The magazine described Buhari as a sandal-wearing ascetic with a record of fighting corruption.
The magazine noted that under Jonathan’s watch , poverty has increased in Nigeria and Nigerians typically die eight years younger than their poorer neighbours in nearby Ghana.
