The Independent National Electoral Commission in Ondo State has said that registered voters can collect their Permanent Voter Cards up until Friday, February 13 of at the local government headquarters of the state INEC.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr. Olusegun Agbaje, said on Thursday in Akure that a total of 1, 016, 771 PVCs had so far been distributed in the state.
He said the figure represented 67.05 per cent of the total number of registered voters.
He said a balance of 477, 398 cards or 31.59 per cent had yet to be collected by their owners.
Agbaje said, “Although collection at the different collection centres will close on Sunday, people can go to the local government offices to collect their cards.
“Our officials will be available at these places to attend to those coming for their cards until 5pm on Friday.
“So, Ondo citizens will have the privilege of collecting their PVCs until 5pm on the day before the election proper.”
