INEC distributes 1.3m PVC's in Benue

Makurdi - The Independent Electoral Commission on Wednesday said it had distributed 1.3 million Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) in Benue.
The Public Relations Officer of the commission in the state, Mr Louis Ochai, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Makurdi that 1.2 million cards had been received for distribution in the state.

He said the cards would be distributed before the expiration of the new dateline for collection.
Ochai said the commission had received election materials, adding that the training of ad hoc staff had been completed and workers were prepared and ready for the exercise.
He called on electorate to collect their cards to enable them vote during the exercise.
